03 Jul Brothers Osborne
You might not expect two brothers from Maryland to be the biggest rising stars in the country music scene, but that’s exactly what John and T.J.—also known as Brothers Osborne—are.
Brothers Osborne blend country and rock together to create a new sound we like to call “country rock”, bringing together twang and crunch like we haven’t seen in years. That sound caught the ears of not just fans, but some of country music’s biggest stars, which sent Brothers Osborne off on tour with the likes of Chris Stapleton, Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, and more. They’ve won a number of awards, including the Country Music Association’s Vocal Duo of the Year (twice!), and have been nominated for Grammy Awards twice. To say they’ve had a good first couple years would be an understatement.
They caught fire with their debut album Pawn Shop‘s hit single, “Stay a Little Longer,” then followed that up with “21 Summer” and “It Ain’t My Fault”. Just a few months ago, they released their sophomore album, Port Saint Joe, which saw a more focused Brothers Osborne. They said goodbye to the more pop side of country and fully embraced their Southern roots rock sound—and the fans and critics alike loved them for it. Just listen to “Shoot Me Straight” below and you’ll get it.
